Community Mobilizer

About the role

The Community Mobilizer will support World Vision’s South Mindanao Earthquake Response, delivering shelter, livelihoods, WASH, health, education and protection interventions in General Santos and Sarangani Province. This is a two‑month fixed‑term position based in Polomolok, reporting to the Response Operations team leader.

Key responsibilities

• Implement response activities on time and to quality standards.
• Plan programmes using technical standards and contextual assessments.
• Coordinate participatory, transparent and conflict‑sensitive beneficiary targeting.
• Document post‑distribution data, disaggregating by sex, age and disability.
• Channel stakeholder feedback to relevant functions.
• Plan and conduct sector‑specific humanitarian interventions.
• Secure funds, equipment, vehicles and supplies with support services.
• Identify and refer operational blockages to the Response Manager and Security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in community engagement and field work.
• Background in emergency response.
• Strong interpersonal and data‑collection abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work in diverse, challenging environments.
• Good physical health.
