Community Manager

About the role

GOOD People Network is seeking a Community Manager for its Manila office to lead the online presence of Netflix Philippines. The ideal candidate lives and breathes internet culture, anticipates trends, and can turn fandom energy into authentic conversations across both mainstream and emerging platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and engage Netflix Philippines communities on platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, Twitch, and Roblox.
• Experiment with new community spaces to create authentic fan interactions.
• Translate audience insights into social programming, campaigns, and real‑time content.
• Develop community‑led formats, fandom activations, and low‑fi executions that drive participation.
• Support creator and influencer collaborations, including streamers and fan moderators.
• Monitor trends, sentiment, and platform behavior to inform storytelling strategies.

Required profile

• Chronically online with fluency in memes, fandom culture, and digital subcultures.
• Deep understanding of Filipino humor, tone, and timing, able to adapt brand voice authentically.
• Creative and strategic thinker who can ideate content and interpret audience data.
• 3–5 years of experience in community management, social media, or digital engagement, preferably in entertainment, gaming, or lifestyle.
• Comfortable navigating experimental spaces like Reddit, Discord, Twitch, and Roblox.
