Community Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The Community Engagement Coordinator works within the Spiritual Ministry Department to lead outreach and partnership initiatives that extend CURE’s mission beyond the hospital walls. This full‑time position supports patients and families by linking them with local faith‑based resources and advocating for disability inclusion in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute community visits, evangelism events, outreach campaigns, and advocacy activities in consultation with Spiritual Department leadership.
• Recruit, train, empower, and retain partner churches, pastors, and community leaders through strategic meetings and mentorship.
• Facilitate communication between the ministry and external faith‑based organizations to strengthen relationships.
• Raise awareness of CURE’s mission among community stakeholders and promote inclusive practices for people with disabilities.
• Provide pastoral and emotional support referrals for discharged patients and their families.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or early‑career professional with a passion for community service and spiritual care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with religious leaders and community groups.
• Commitment to CURE’s core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence.
