Communications Officer – Offshore Wind Projects

About the role

The Communications Officer will support the San Miguel Bay Offshore Wind Farm Project, driving communications and stakeholder engagement across the Philippines. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is based in Manila and focuses on promoting offshore wind and the project’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, oversee and implement communications campaigns to promote offshore wind and the San Miguel Bay project.
• Lead digital strategy across video, social media and website channels, creating high‑quality content and managing suppliers.
• Produce and maintain communications collateral such as fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, and advertising materials.
• Identify media opportunities, build journalist relationships, prepare releases and manage media enquiries.
• Coordinate corporate events, sponsorships, branding and speaking opportunities.
• Provide communication advice to internal teams and act as brand guardian.
• Build and sustain relationships with national, regional and local stakeholders, representing the project in meetings and forums.
• Manage communications workflow, ensuring timely delivery, fact‑checking and approvals.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary degree and/or postgraduate qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field.
