About the role
The Communications Officer will support Oxfam Pilipinas’ Policy Advocacy and Communications team, strengthening campaigns, digital visibility, media engagement, and storytelling. The role is ideal for a passionate communicator who aligns with Oxfam’s feminist principles and commitment to ending poverty.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies for advocacy campaigns.
- Create and design a range of communication materials such as media releases, brochures, social media posts, posters, banners, and video reels.
- Manage Oxfam Philippines’ digital platforms, ensuring consistent branding and audience engagement.
- Monitor media coverage and use social listening tools to inform messaging.
- Collaborate with partners and integrate gender and diversity considerations into all communications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, development studies, gender studies, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in development communication, digital content, and campaign management.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of development and humanitarian issues in the Global South.
