Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

The Commercial Finance Manager acts as a strategic finance business partner, driving profitable growth and supporting enterprise decision‑making across revenue, margin, pricing, inventory and investment evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to influence strategic and tactical decisions through financial analysis and commercial insights.
• Lead analysis of sales, gross margin, pricing and promotional effectiveness, and recommend actions to improve revenue quality and profitability.
• Monitor sales performance, customer and channel profitability, and support trading reviews and corrective actions.
• Drive inventory productivity, working capital performance and cash conversion initiatives in collaboration with supply chain and operations.
• Evaluate commercial initiatives, develop business cases and ROI assessments to support capital allocation decisions.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, support productivity programs and measure benefits realization.
• Develop commercial KPIs, dashboards, variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Support cross‑functional strategic projects, build relationships across functions and promote data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of progressive FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field; CPA, CA, CMA, CFA or MBA preferred.
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams in retail, FMCG, consumer goods, e‑commerce or high‑growth environments.
