Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing Estimator – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing Estimator to join our remote team supporting US construction projects. The position focuses on accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and bid preparation for commercial drywall and metal stud framing work.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and related scopes.
• Develop accurate labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Prepare competitive project budgets and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth transition from estimating to execution.
• Respond to client and contractor inquiries during the bidding process.
• Evaluate project risks, scope gaps, and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial metal stud framing and drywall systems.
• Proven ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
