Commercial Business Development Officer

About the role

Pi Energy is looking for a Commercial Business Development Officer to grow its market presence in Mindanao. The role involves generating leads, managing customer pipelines, closing contracts, and providing after‑sales support while feeding market insights back to product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage end‑to‑end customer pipelines, ensuring regular engagement with existing accounts and quarterly business reviews for key customers.
• Qualify, develop and implement coverage plans, generate and close sales opportunities to meet monthly revenue targets.
• Prepare bidding documents, negotiate proposals and contracts, and ensure timely contract execution.
• Log customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate CRM records throughout the sales cycle.
• Participate in networking events, seminars and exhibitions to represent Pi Energy and build business connections.
• Gather market data, produce routine analysis reports, and update Salesforce and internal sales trackers in real time.

Required profile

• Graduate of a business‑related or engineering discipline (e.g., Management, Marketing, Economics, Electrical Engineering).
• At least 2 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or account management, preferably in the energy or power sector.
• Proven ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
