Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to protect its cloud infrastructure and support its growing suite of financial services. You will work closely with product, engineering and security operations teams to design, implement and monitor secure cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate cloud security solutions in line with company policies, architecture standards and best‑practice guidelines.
• Conduct security audits of the cloud environment, covering network, configuration, permissions and data, and drive remediation of identified risks.
• Manage daily vulnerability management processes for cloud assets.
• Build and maintain container security systems, including policies and tooling.
• Develop and promote key‑rotation strategies across cloud services.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure security status and collaborate with technical teams to respond to SOC alerts and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting cloud infrastructure risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Hands‑on involvement in emergency response to cloud security incidents.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective time‑management and organizational skills.

Required skills

• AWS IAM, VPC, Security Groups, NACL, Load Balancer, KMS, Secret Manager.
• AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Config, IAM Access Analyzer.
• EKS security, including Pod security policies.
• Container security tools such as Falco and rule management.
• Cloud security technologies: CSPM, CIEM, CNAPP.
