Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes Administrator)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes administration to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. The role supports both existing banking applications and new technical solutions while ensuring compliance with bank standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application system enhancements and mid‑to‑complex infrastructure projects.
• Define, maintain, and enforce standards and procedures for technical solutions.
• Direct production operations, schedule tasks, and ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Assign and balance workloads across project team members.
• Ensure projects adhere to quality‑assurance standards and audit guidelines.
• Review production performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Provide solutions to address audit findings and maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate of an IT‑related degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proven experience managing AWS cloud platforms, including Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, Python).
• Demonstrated project‑management abilities and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Taguig.
