Clinical Trainer – Registered Pharmacist (Healthcare BPO)

About the role

The Clinical Trainer will design, deliver and evaluate training programs for healthcare BPO employees, ensuring they have the clinical knowledge, regulatory awareness and process expertise needed to support providers, payers, pharmacies and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate new‑hire, refresher and continuing education training for healthcare accounts.
• Deliver clinical training on pharmacy operations, medical terminology, disease states, medications, workflows and client‑specific processes.
• Create classroom, virtual and on‑the‑job sessions and produce learning materials, facilitator guides, e‑learning modules and job aids.
• Assess trainee performance through tests, observations, coaching and competency validation.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for pharmacy and clinical processes, providing guidance to operations teams.
• Ensure training content reflects current clinical guidelines, regulations and client requirements.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to identify performance gaps and implement targeted training interventions.
• Monitor training effectiveness using KPIs, quality scores and operational metrics, and maintain accurate training records.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) with a valid professional license.
• Experience as a trainer in a healthcare BPO environment.
• 1–2 years of experience in training, coaching, learning and development or healthcare BPO operations (preferred).
• Familiarity with US healthcare accounts, utilization review, pharmacy benefit management, prior authorization, medical claims or healthcare customer service (advantage).
