Civil Designer/Drafter – Water Utilities

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Civil Designer/Drafter to support water utilities projects. You will contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions for water infrastructure networks while working within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil design documentation for water infrastructure using 12d and Civil 3D.
• Support BIM and CAD workflows with Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks.
• Assist in hydraulic and wastewater network modelling using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and InfoWorks.
• Integrate spatial data and analytics into design workflows.
• Apply Python scripting to automate design tasks, data processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers, modelers, and project managers to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in civil design and drafting for water utilities or related infrastructure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
