Chief Mechanic – Heavy Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Chief Mechanic to lead maintenance and repair activities for the MCRP‑02 project in San Fernando, Pampanga. The role ensures equipment reliability, supports continuous project operations, and promotes safety and efficiency across all heavy‑equipment and vehicle assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of all project equipment and vehicles.
• Assist the workshop supervisor in planning maintenance schedules, diagnosing failures and coordinating repairs.
• Supervise mechanics during maintenance and repair tasks, maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Provide technical expertise to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous project operation.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license (categories B, B1, B2, C, D).
• NCII Certificate as Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and light vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service instructions and equipment drawings.
• Experience supervising mechanics and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
