About the role
The Vikings Group, a leading luxury buffet chain in the Philippines, is seeking a dedicated Chef De Partie to join its Laoag location. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will lead a specific kitchen section, ensuring every dish meets the brand’s high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and cooking within your assigned station.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist the executive chef in menu development and recipe refinement.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely ingredient preparation.
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely service during high‑volume periods.
Required profile
- Proven culinary expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating.
- Experience supervising kitchen operations and managing junior staff.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and contribute to menu planning.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced kitchen.
- Prior experience in a high‑volume or luxury dining environment is a plus.
- Culinary certification or degree preferred but not mandatory.
