CAPEX & Technical Projects Engineer

About the role

The CAPEX & Technical Projects Engineer will lead capital expenditure and technical projects that support the factory’s operational and business goals. You will manage projects from concept through implementation, ensuring they meet scope, budget, quality, and timeline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and monitor assigned CAPEX and technical projects.
• Develop project parameters, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Track project progress, budgets, schedules, and team performance; provide regular status updates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise execution and improve project management practices.
• Review engineering activities, implement corrective actions, and address technical issues.
• Create technical specifications and requirements for equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Establish performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and quality monitoring methods.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for governance and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, technical projects, CAPEX management, or project management.
• Strong project management and coordination capabilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).
• Technical problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of local and global engineering standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
