About the role

Deloitte Philippines is seeking a Business Tax Associate to join its Direct Tax team in Manila. The role supports a variety of clients across industries with tax compliance, advisory and corporate services.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist clients with tax return preparation, filing and compliance reviews.
  • Provide tax consultancy, support investigations, transfer pricing, incorporation, dissolution and tax ruling processes.
  • Prepare tax returns, draft reports, opinions and protest letters using appropriate software.
  • Research tax and corporate matters and consult with senior colleagues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client personnel and government agencies such as the BIR, SEC, PEZA, BOI and Bureau of Customs.
  • Deliver effective conflict resolution and support client service excellence.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior experience required.
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to client service.
