Business Studies & Economics Teacher

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Manila is seeking an enthusiastic Business Studies and/or Economics teacher to deliver IGCSE and A‑Level programmes. You will join a vibrant international community where innovative teaching and student achievement are at the heart of daily life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies and Economics lessons for IGCSE and A‑Level students.
• Support curriculum development and implementation aligned with Cambridge and Pearson standards.
• Drive high levels of student engagement, achievement and progression.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Participate in enrichment activities, school events and extracurricular programmes.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at IGCSE and/or A‑Level.
• Experience teaching Economics and/or Mathematics is desirable.
• Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel A‑Level programmes.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
• Current enhanced criminal record checks for all countries of residence.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of effective teaching, differentiation and inclusive classroom practice.
• Knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel examination requirements.
