About the role
The Business Development Specialist will drive new revenue growth for Air Liquide in the VisMin region by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and market approaches. The role focuses on both bulk and packaged gas supply modes, including micro‑bulk and E&I solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calls and on‑site visits, conducting thorough needs assessments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized gas solutions that meet client objectives.
- Prepare commercial offers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with Air Liquide’s commercial policies.
- Record and monitor customer and market activities in the CRM system, providing accurate forecasts and portfolio growth analysis.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- 3‑5 years of sales engineering experience (technical background is a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Strong communication skills, learning agility, and a customer‑focused mindset.
