Business Development Manager – Key Accounts (Public Cloud)

About the role

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead key account growth for its public cloud services in the Philippines. The role combines ownership of revenue targets with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business owner, taking responsibility for revenue and customer experience on Alibaba Cloud.
• Identify and qualify potential clients across various industries.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
• Lead client meetings and presentations to promote Alibaba Cloud solutions.
• Negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets.
• Advocate for customer requirements within Alibaba Cloud and represent the brand in customer environments.
• Collaborate with the Alibaba Cloud Architect team to recommend suitable solutions.
• Escalate issues with Alibaba Cloud service teams and conduct periodic performance reviews for key accounts.

Required profile

• 8+ years of business development or sales experience in technology or cloud computing within the Philippines market.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Experience prospecting and building relationships with new target accounts.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
