Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition and drive revenue growth for SMDigital, a digital marketing and BPO services provider.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities aligned with SMDigital’s growth strategy.
• Build and nurture a strong pipeline of prospective clients through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Develop and present compelling proposals, pitches, and tailored solutions to meet client needs.
• Lead discovery conversations to uncover pain points and position services as solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership on go‑to‑market strategies, pricing, and service positioning.
• Manage existing client relationships to identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
• Represent SMDigital at industry events, partnerships, and client meetings.
• Track pipeline activity, forecast accurately, and report on business development performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within a BPO or digital marketing environment.
• Proven track record of meeting targets and growing revenue.
• Strategic, consultative approach with strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, resilient, and comfortable presenting to C‑suite and senior decision‑makers.
• Highly organized with strong pipeline management and CRM discipline.
