Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our residential and commercial‑and‑industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions. You will work with a leading Tier‑1 lithium‑ion battery manufacturer to identify new market opportunities and build strong relationships with distributors and installers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sales and business development activities for residential and C&I storage systems.
• Define market positioning, target client segments and create sales and marketing plans across multiple channels.
• Generate leads, develop business opportunities and manage end‑to‑end execution of campaigns.
• Analyse target markets, apply best‑practice marketing strategies and produce analytics reports to guide future initiatives.
• Prepare formal proposals, recommendations and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Recruit, onboard and develop distributors, major installers and partners within assigned territories.
• Achieve assigned business goals and sales quotas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the renewable new‑energy sector; experience with residential energy storage is preferred.
• Proven track record in managing distribution channels and promotional campaigns.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales, presentation, multitasking and decision‑making abilities.
• Team‑oriented, self‑driven attitude with a positive work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
