About the role
The Business Development Executive will drive new‑business generation and manage key accounts for SGS in the assigned market segment. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets while aligning with the company’s overall sales strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute action plans that support overall business and sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, generate leads, and manage key accounts to meet revenue goals.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry needs, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
- Prepare customized costing, proposals, service agreements and tenders within set deadlines.
- Maintain strong client relationships, monitor satisfaction, and address complaints promptly.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns, pricing initiatives, and annual budget planning.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collection of receivables, and accurate reporting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development or sales within a B2B environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and financial impact.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry players.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
