Branch Head

About the role

The Branch Head leads the Branch Banking Group (BBG) Business Unit, overseeing profitability, marketing, operations and administration of the branch. The role involves building long‑term client relationships, gathering market feedback and ensuring the branch meets its financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs and offer appropriate products and services to achieve the bank’s funds generation, credit services and profitability targets.
• Oversee overall servicing of the branch, including administrative, control and compliance functions.
• Ensure adherence to bank products, services, policies, procedures and controls by branch officers and staff.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Gather market intelligence on client needs and competition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5–10 years of managerial experience in branch banking, marketing or operations.
• Proven ability to drive profitability and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of banking products and regulatory compliance.
