BOSC Construction Supervisor

About the role

The BOSC Construction Supervisor will lead cost estimation for construction and engineering projects, translating RFP data into accurate labor, equipment, subcontractor, ODC and material cost models. This role may also mentor junior estimators and ensure timely, compliant proposal submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in sequencing construction activities and outline labor, material, and equipment components.
• Analyze specifications, sketches, blueprints, and bills of material to calculate production costs.
• Collect cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare, maintain, and revise cost models and historical cost data.
• Assist subject‑matter experts in Bill of Estimate (BOE) development and ensure compliance with proposal deadlines.
• Mentor less‑experienced estimators and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Serve as liaison between estimating and other functional departments to guarantee accurate data flow.
• Provide QA/QC support for the estimating process and review manufacturing parts lists.
• Prepare final estimates for domestic and international government proposals and interface with auditors for price audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of construction or government estimation experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, costs, and procedures across heavy construction, electrical, plumbing, and masonry work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple concurrent tasks.
