About the role
The BIM Modeler (C&S) will create and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings for the civil and structural discipline, supporting design engineers and project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop BIM models and detailed CAD drawings for C&S discipline under the direction of Design Engineer and BIM/CAD Job Captain.
- Ensure construction document accuracy based on updated BIM models from all disciplines.
- Collaborate and coordinate design changes and model challenges across disciplines.
- Follow the Project BIM Execution Plan, BIM workflow criteria, and organization BIM standards.
- Produce drawing sets, prepare discipline models for BIM coordination meetings, and export DWF or other formats for internal and external collaboration.
Required profile
- High level of communication and good writing skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to BIM standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, and drawing cleanup.
- Experience using Autodesk Navisworks for design review and collaboration.
