Back End Developer – Python & Serverless

About the role

The Platform Engineer will design, develop, and maintain the company’s digital products and server‑side platforms, including databases, APIs and services. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software that powers our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and manage AWS Lambda functions with the Serverless Framework.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support various applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, senior developers and front‑end teams to define technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices and ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.
• Lead technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions and project planning.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with Django, FastAPI or Flask.
• Proficiency in building GraphQL and RESTful APIs and working with web services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Good problem‑solving abilities, communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to work onsite at MOA Square, Pasay City.
