Automation Development Officer (RPA)

About the role

The Automation Development Officer will design, build, test, and operate automation solutions such as RPA bots, macros, and low‑code applications to streamline business processes. You will translate functional specifications into secure, maintainable automations and collaborate with business stakeholders and the Process Automation team to plan releases and ensure stable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation using UiPath, Power Automate/Power Apps, Excel VBA/.NET, Kissflow, following coding standards and security guidelines.
• Convert functional design documents into technical designs, reusable components, and working code while meeting sprint commitments.
• Create and maintain Technical Design Documents, architecture diagrams, and security considerations.
• Package, publish, schedule, and monitor bots via orchestrators; manage assets, queues, and credentials.
• Execute controlled promotions (DEV→UAT→PROD), prepare release notes, and participate in change reviews.
• Conduct SIT, support UAT, remediate defects, and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Maintain solution documentation, runbooks, and user manuals for audit readiness.
• Provide hypercare, monitor bot health, apply optimisations, and hand over to BAU.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in automation development, testing, implementation and hyper‑care support.
• Strong analytical ability to identify automation opportunities from complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
