Australian Tax Accountant – Hybrid (Philippines)

About the role

Join a leading Australian Big 4 accounting firm through Emapta to deliver high‑quality tax and financial reporting services for international clients. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Pampanga, with three days on‑site each week and opportunities for travel to Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for multiple entity structures and ensure audit readiness.
• Process journal entries in client accounting systems and compile supporting workpapers.
• Draft and review Australian income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with GST compliance requirements.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters and provide advisory support.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of Australian tax experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Australian public practice accounting.
• Experience with SME and mid‑market clients (AUD 5M‑100M+ turnover).
• Strong analytical, research and communication abilities.
