Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant will support accounts management, financial reporting and compliance for Beepo, a full‑service outsourcing company. Working remotely, you will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting and provide data‑driven insights for commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounts inbox, processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions and payments.
• Run daily and weekly sales reporting with commentary.
• Own month‑end and year‑end close, including balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare timely monthly financial reports and performance analysis for leadership.
• Handle compliance reporting such as BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover.
• Conduct data analysis to support commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with solid post‑qualification experience in a hands‑on accounting role.
• Confidence across the full month‑end cycle and Australian compliance requirements.
• Strong reconciliation and general‑ledger skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, growing business and translate finance concepts for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud‑based retail/e‑commerce systems such as Shopify, CIN7 Core, Xero and DEXT.
