Audit and Accounts Associate

About the role

The Audit and Accounts Associate will be based in our Cebu office and will conduct financial audits for international clients. This position offers exposure to cross‑border engagements and the chance to work with teams in the UAE and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and IFRS.
• Review financial statements, supporting schedules and documentation for international clients.
• Identify issues, risks and control weaknesses and propose actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain organized working papers.
• Ensure compliance with international tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Evaluate internal control systems, recommend improvements and monitor implementation.
• Collaborate remotely with clients, audit managers and cross‑border teams, communicating findings across time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA qualification preferred; ACCA, CIA or similar certifications are advantageous.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and adaptability to international workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit and accounting software such as CaseWare and QuickBooks.
