About the role
The Associate Lawyer will support litigation, disputes and adversarial proceedings, as well as corporate and commercial matters, under the supervision of senior lawyers.
Key responsibilities
- Appear in hearings, attend client and government meetings, and coordinate with witnesses.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, memoranda and transaction documents.
- Conduct legal research and support due diligence for M&A and investment deals.
- Assist in structuring cross‑border transactions, PPP and infrastructure projects.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a law firm with exposure to litigation (criminal, civil, administrative) and labor.
- Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, including contracts, M&A, banking, finance and securities regulation.
- Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to the Philippine Bar (or eligibility and intent to take the Bar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
