About the role
The Associate Attorney will work full‑time on a hybrid schedule (3 days on‑site, 2 days remote) in Manila, supporting a broad range of legal matters for clients of a full‑service Philippine law firm.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Prepare legal opinions, advisory memoranda, and conduct thorough legal research on Philippine laws, regulations, and jurisprudence.
- Attend client meetings, provide legal advice, negotiate settlements and agreements, and liaise with government agencies.
- Assist senior lawyers in court appearances, hearings, and case management.
Required profile
- Bar admission in the Philippines (or 2026 bar applicant) and in good standing.
- Strong grounding in Philippine law, including criminal, civil, labor, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously with high ethical standards.
Required skills
- Legal research on case law, statutes, and administrative regulations.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and pleadings.
- Negotiation skills for contracts, settlements, and client agreements.
