Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional retail experience at Boot Barn. This role combines leadership, customer service, and operational oversight to help achieve sales targets and uphold the company’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach store partners to foster a service‑driven culture and build lasting customer relationships.
• Provide timely feedback, set goals, and recognize high performance among team members.
• Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Assist with partner training, development plans, and career progression.
• Adjust staffing schedules, implement operational directives, and communicate changes to relevant district and regional partners.
• Identify local customer needs and relay insights to the Store Manager.
• Plan and execute community‑focused events that drive store traffic.
• Promote the Boot Barn Credit Card and B Rewarded Loyalty Programs.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, presented, and priced according to visual standards and markdown policies.
