Assistant Project Manager – Waste Management

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of waste management projects within our construction and development portfolio. The role involves collaborating with senior managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for waste management initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and ensure compliance.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to waste handling, disposal, and environmental impact.
• Support procurement activities, including material sourcing and equipment logistics.
• Participate in site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or assistance within construction or environmental projects.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
