About the role

The Department of Computer Sciences at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus is seeking six Assistant Professors to join its faculty. The position involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding research projects, and contributing to the department’s academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs and tutorials for Computer Science programmes.
• Design and update curriculum in emerging technology areas.
• Supervise student projects, theses and research activities.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Participate in departmental committees and community outreach.

Required profile

• Post‑graduation in Computer Science (MCA, M.Tech or M.Sc).
• Ph.D. in IoT, Cloud Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Blockchain, Computer Vision or Data Science (fresh Ph.D. graduates are welcome).
• Strong academic record and a passion for teaching.
