Architect – Remote (NSW Projects)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to work remotely on residential and commercial projects in New South Wales. You will collaborate with builders, project managers, and site teams to deliver compliant, innovative designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and detailed drawings for NSW projects.
• Prepare documentation in line with the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
• Apply NSW planning requirements, including DCPs and SEPPs, to project submissions.
• Integrate sustainability criteria such as BASIX, NABERS, and Green Star where applicable.
• Coordinate council approvals, permits, and consultant submissions.
• Provide technical input on materials, finishes, constructability, and sustainable solutions.
• Manage design revisions, variations, and documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture (registered with NSW Architects Registration Board) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience in the NSW construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of NSW building codes, planning regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
