Architect – Remote Australian Projects

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager in reviewing and tracking design progress for each project.
• Review and track detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
• Create and monitor design programmes, follow up Cobild design processes and checklists with project teams.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, consultants and project teams to deliver quality documentation.
• Coordinate virtually with team members and Australian clients using tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Guarantee that all designs meet Cobild’s quality standards and Australian building regulations.
• Stay updated on trends, technologies and best practices in Australian architecture and remote project management.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of architectural design experience, including 2‑3 years in a senior or project‑lead role on Australian projects.
• Deep knowledge of Australian building codes, standards and construction practices.
• Licensed architect or in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Strong project‑management abilities, handling multiple Australian projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for virtual client interaction.
• Proven problem‑solving skills for challenges specific to Australian architecture.
• Meticulous attention to detail and compliance with Australian standards.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and adapting to new technologies.
