Analog Layout Designer

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for a Layout Designer to join its High Voltage & Protection (HVP) team in Cavite. You will create analog layout blocks and work closely with schematic designers and layout engineers worldwide on new products of the DCE Group. The main goal is to meet the schedule, design and quality requirements set by project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create analog layout blocks for the HVP team.
• Work with schematic designers and layout teams globally on new innovative products.
• Meet schedule, design and quality requirements set by project stakeholders.
• Work with senior engineers to support team goals, participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to collaborate with a cross-functional and global team.
• Willingness to travel about 10% of the time; shift is 1st shift/days.

Required skills

• Solid hands-on analog block-level layout experience.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, cross-section and construction.
• Solid understanding of layout principles, including reliability and failure mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso XL and Calibre verification tools is an advantage.
• Experience in P90, 180nm and Vanguard technology nodes is a plus.
