Air Cargo Agent – Time‑Critical Shipments Specialist

About the role

Join OBP as an Air Cargo Agent and become the go‑to expert for time‑critical shipments. You will support customers, coordinate with carriers, and ensure every delivery is executed flawlessly, especially in high‑pressure AOG situations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and handle customer requests, advising on weather, geopolitical, and trade compliance restrictions.
• Find suitable solutions for customers and adhere to client‑specific SOPs.
• Represent the client to carriers, negotiate with suppliers, and validate service quotes.
• Create and manage shipment files in the F.A.S.T system, providing instructions to Back Officers.
• Track and monitor AOGs in real‑time, follow up on loading, pickup, and delivery confirmations.
• Control administrative documents, update dedicated IT tools, and manage dispute cases.
• Supervise Back Officer activities and maintain constant communication across teams.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of logistics experience with strong exposure to international air transport.
• Expert knowledge of air transport regulations, Incoterms, customs rules, and compliance.
• Proven managerial and coordination skills for front‑line AOG operations.
• High stress resistance, strong decision‑making, and ability to work 24/7/365 shift schedules.
• Business‑level English proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strict adherence to procedures, quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the F.A.S.T shipment management system.
• Working knowledge of standard computer and operational tools used in logistics.
