Accounts Assistant (AR/AP) – Hybrid, Makati

About the role

A fast-growing, multi-site food-service equipment and support business is looking for an Accounts Assistant to own high-volume, transactional accounts payable and accounts receivable processing across several systems and business units. The role is fast-paced, with about 600 new stores expected over the next six months, adding roughly 60 hours of processing work per week. The setup is one month onsite at the Makati office, then hybrid day shift (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM).

Key responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: enter supplier and contractor invoices into Mendrhub accurately and on time, match them to purchase orders, and meet payment deadlines.
• Accounts Receivable and billing: raise and issue customer invoices in Mendrhub and MYOB across brush-clean operations, soft-serve mix and machine parts and service; upload invoices to customer billing portals; process recurring credit card charges and convert EFT payments into invoices; issue credit notes and correct billing errors.
• Credit control and collections: monitor overdue accounts, send reminder letters, make follow-up calls, and escalate unresolved debts to the external debt collection process.

Required profile

• Prior experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, ideally with high transaction volumes.
• Fast, accurate data entry and strong attention to detail under volume pressure.
• Ability to prioritise many invoices and orders against tight deadlines.
• Professional phone manner for collections calls and a proactive approach to fixing errors early.

Required skills

• MYOB and/or similar accounting or order-management systems.
• Mendrhub or comparable ERP/order platforms are a plus.
