Accounting Staff – Full‑Time Position in Davao City

About the role

The Accounting Staff member will support CURE’s hospital operations in Davao City by handling all disbursement‑related accounting activities. This full‑time, mid‑level position ensures accurate recording of payments, compliance with Philippine tax regulations, and timely reconciliation of cash advances and bank transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Journalize disbursement transactions, adjustments, and liquidation reports.
• Prepare and release check vouchers and payments after obtaining required approvals from the Finance Director and Executive Director.
• Maintain and update the books of accounts in accordance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements.
• File check vouchers together with invoices, receipts, and related documents.
• Record and monitor the status of issued checks and online bank payments.
• Reconcile liquidation reports and support all accounting‑related transactions.
• Manage cash‑advance requests, track unliquidated advances, and issue reminders for timely liquidation.
• Compute and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding tax and VAT summaries for payment.

Required profile

• Mid‑level accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or nonprofit environment.
• Full‑time availability in Davao City, Philippines.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax filing and BIR documentation.
