Accounting Specialist

About the role

As an Accounting Specialist you will ensure accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting, handling journal entries, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and collaborating across departments to maintain financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare general accounting related deliverables.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliation.
• Monitor, reconcile and account for fixed‑asset accounts.
• Execute regular monthly closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and schedules against financial reports and propose adjustments.
• Participate in system implementations and perform user acceptance testing as needed.
• Support external audit processes at group and subsidiary levels.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements for financial reporting efficiency.
• Assist with cash‑flow management and treasury operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
• Team player eager to learn new things.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform self‑checks.
• Highly skilled in using MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment.
