Accounting Officer

About the role

The Accounting Officer will manage day‑to‑day financial and accounting operations for a Level 1 private hospital. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the hospital’s financial stability while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and other financial reports.
• Record daily transactions, maintain ledgers, and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank accounts.
• Assist in budget preparation and provide timely financial data to other departments.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset for working with medical, administrative, and finance staff.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and digital tools for recording and tracking financial data.
• Solid understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
