Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and results‑driven Accounting Manager to lead our Finance and Accounting team. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine accounting standards and regulations, and delivering accurate financial information to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Accounting Department.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Supervise month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations.
• Prepare and review tax filings such as VAT, EWT, FWT, and Income Tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Proficiency in journal entries and maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• Solid finance background with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of fixed assets accounting, including capitalization and depreciation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Familiarity with BIR tax requirements and filing procedures.
• Ability to develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.
