Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient processes. This senior position partners with cross‑functional teams to support strategic decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with other departments to achieve organisational goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven people‑management experience leading finance teams.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting abilities.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, standards, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
