Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead Hyperbrands Corporation’s day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting. This role oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general accounting, and financial statement preparation using the AutoCount system, providing a solid foundation for strategic finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Record, classify, and update all financial transactions in AutoCount, maintaining complete and accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with supporting schedules and reconciliations.
• Directly manage and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, establishing clear workflows, deadlines, and accountability.
• Oversee supplier invoicing, payment processing, and payable aging, coordinating with Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement.
• Enforce accounting policies, procedures, and documentation standards while driving continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting operations and managing AP/AR teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
• Ability to establish and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
