Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across multiple client engagements in a fast‑paced outsourced environment. You will ensure accurate financial records, support month‑end close, and drive scalable accounting workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple client entities and manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Operate and optimize accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, and Prendio.
• Oversee accounts payable workflows and expense management processes.
• Supervise, review, and mentor junior accounting team members across engagements.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on deliverables, workflow, and capacity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and ad‑hoc financial projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance client deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in outsourced accounting, public accounting, or multi‑entity environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month‑end close best practices.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
