Accounting and Finance Head

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Head to lead our finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving budgeting processes, and ensuring robust treasury and compliance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Lead annual budgeting, monitor performance against budgets and produce forecasts.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and relationships with banks.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, local regulations (BIR, SEC) and accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate fraud risk.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the accounting and finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• 5‑10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a health insurance environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and PFRS/GAAP.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with financial reporting software such as SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of PFRS and GAAP accounting frameworks.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations.
