About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for an Accountant to join its finance team. The role supports multiple entities, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance within a fast‑growing digital‑currency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate accounting entries for several entities by compiling and validating reports from internal teams.
• Assist in timely monthly and annual closing of accounting books.
• Maintain proper supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
• Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analysing relevant information.
• Support the preparation of monthly tax filings.
• Provide financial recommendations based on accounting analysis.
• Ensure internal controls are followed to maintain financial security.
• Coordinate with other teams and external auditors to deliver timely audits.
• Assist finance managers and the corporate finance team in day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA is a plus.
• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in a financial institution.
• Experience with owning, maintaining, closing, and auditing books of accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and communicate positively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace applications.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
