Accountant – Full‑time Night Shift (Cebu)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its onsite team in Cebu. Working on a US‑aligned night shift, you will handle full‑cycle accounting for a multi‑client portfolio while driving efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, and process journal entries for monthly, quarterly and year‑end closes.
• Prepare financial statements, cash‑flow reports and variance analyses against budgets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, execute bank reconciliations and ensure timely payroll processing.
• Build and sustain client relationships, deliver work under budget and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, keep audit‑ready documentation and guide junior associates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Proactive, tech‑forward mindset with quick adoption of new digital tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or related field.
• PH CPA license or certifications in Xero/QuickBooks Online is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Xero (preferred).
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (preferred).
